On Sunday Lee and I perked up even though we still were feeling pretty sick but decided to get out and get some fresh air. We went out for lunch/dinner and then went over to my parents to get a christmas tree! Before we left I decorated the apartment for christmas ..everything except a tree! I even had presents ready to under one but we decided to wait until we got back! We wanted to get a real tree this year but we were TOTALLY broke after our amazing trip and since my tree that I've had for five years has kinda gone bobo ..we decided to use my parents artificial tree! I love their tree.. and i figured they wouldn't mind since they're skipping out on christmas this year and going to Florida! They were thrilled to give it to us! We brought it home and I begged Lee to help me put it up immediately. I usually put my tree up on Thanksgiving so I was totally behind schedule! I REALLY had to beg!! But it all worked out and it ended up working out nicely. Our tree is done in reds and greens this year..I usually do blue and white and silver..but I'm going to try to do a different theme every year. We decided on red and green this year because of some ornaments we purchased on our trip to Charlotte! Here's a few pics of the tree decorating :) Enjoy!

Oh Tannenbaum....this is the part where i drumrolled by rolling my toungue and lee grabbed the cord to plug it in and sang "JOY TO THE WORLD..." Gotta love the griswolds!
